This design closely mimics the balance of an authentic Japanese sword, making it ideal for practitioners who favor strong, precise strikes. With a reinforced bamboo tip, it’s durable enough for regular keiko practice and well-suited for tournament use.
This Koto-gata shinai is made in Keichiku.

This type of shinai comes pre-assembled, so each size is available with a fixed Tsuka size:
- Size 39 Shinai (Male) includes a size 39 Tsuka only
- Size 39 Shinai (Female) includes a size 38 Tsuka only
Tsuba and Tsubatome are not included.
